Wildflowers Writing Workshop

If we don't write our own narratives the world will keep writing us in the margins of theirs. 

This pop-up writing workshop is designed for Black women to play with characterization and narrative for film and TV using their own narratives. 

Black women are dynamic. We should have characters in film and tv that reflect this nature. There are brilliant tv shows and movies that have Black female leads but we need more. 

In this writing workshop, we gather to write characters, storylines, and story elements using ourselves as references. 

Participants will use the practice of embodiment, intuition, and imagination as a tool kit. 

Participants will work with the outlines and creative mind muscles to design their own plot lines.
