Amira E'lon Warren-Yearby is a multi-hyphenate artist  (writer, photographer, videographer, potter, actress, graphic designer, and musician).  She's an Aquarius; what do you expect!? She is smitten by the topics of love, healing, identity, and becoming.

 

Her multi-artistic abilities are what she orbits depending on where or whom she's called to connect with or serve.  Amira is called to activate the world toward; Action (healing), Radical expression & authenticity, and deepening one's empathy & intentionality. 

 

Amira's core drive is humanizing the human experience. She finds herself constantly screaming "joy is our birthright.""At the forefront, Amira is accessing her calling through writing.  Amira tells stories of transformation, emotions, language, identity, and collective action.

 

She explores these themes through poetry, expository essays, screenplays, and short stories, whichever style best suits the voice trying to be heard. Amira Warren-Yearby has a B.A. in communication and journalism with an emphasis on creative multimedia and a minor in film studies.

 

Amira has a background and experience in both the arts and facilitation/curriculum development. Amira is a facilitator & educator.
